Finding Strength Together: Overcoming Barriers to Movement

We all know how good it feels to move our bodies — but sometimes life gets in the way. Work deadlines, kids’ extracurricular schedules, endless to-do lists… it’s no wonder so many of us fall out of routine.
The good news? You don’t have to be perfect, and you don’t have to figure it out alone. At Spinfinite, we believe fitness should feel accessible, supportive, and — yes — fun. Here are some of the most common barriers we hear, and how our community helps break through them.
Common Barriers (and How to Break Through Them)
“My kids’ schedules come first — I don’t have time for me.”
Between practices, games, and lessons, it can feel impossible to squeeze in a workout. That’s why we offer classes 7 days a week at times that fit real life: 5:45 AM, 9:15 AM, 12:15 PM, 5:35 PM, 6:30 PM, 7:00 PM, and now 8:00 PM. Whether you’re an early riser, a midday mover, or need an evening reset, there’s always a time that works.
“Those bike seats are uncomfortable.”
We get it — comfort matters! That’s why we keep a supply of well-loved seat covers that anyone can borrow during class. Prefer your own? We sell brand-new padded seat covers for just $10. And here’s the thing: your body adapts quickly — within a few rides, you won’t even notice the seat anymore.
“Spin is too hard/challenging for me.”
Here’s the secret: you are always in control of the resistance and speed. At Spinfinite, we teach from your base — that means your ride is built around what feels right for you on that day (and yes, your base can change depending on your energy, mood, or even the bike you’re on. It's ok to meet yourself where you are at each day).
We also give options for every move. Don’t feel like standing to ride or doing jumps? No problem. Our instructors will guide you with alternatives so you still get a great workout that fits your body. Every ride is truly yours.
“I don’t like exercise.”
Then you haven’t tried Spinfinite yet. Our instructors keep things engaging with music, stories, and challenges that make the time fly by. Before you know it, 45 minutes is over — and you’ve laughed, sweated, and felt part of something bigger.
“I don’t know what class to choose.”
Spinfinite isn’t just spin! Variety keeps your workouts interesting:
Strength training in our Cyclical class to build muscle and confidence
Core & functional training in our Core Foundations class for stability, posture, and power
Yoga & mobility in our Sp-oga class to stretch, recover, and reset
Spin in our Spinfinity, Spintervals and Velocity classes for energy, sweat, and endorphins
“I don’t have time for multiple workouts each week.”
The truth is, the minimum effective dose for results is just two workouts per week. That’s enough to start seeing improvements in strength, energy, and mood. And with our schedule spread across all 7 days, it’s easier than ever to make it happen.
“I’ve lost my motivation.”
That’s where community comes in. When you show up to class, you’re not just moving for yourself — you’re part of a group cheering each other on. Our members often say it’s the encouragement and friendships that keep them coming back.
The Power of Community to Overcome Barriers
At Spinfinite, you’re not just attending a class — you’re joining a supportive, welcoming community. Here, no one’s keeping score or comparing — we’re all building strength together, one class at a time.
